March is Women’s History Month, and March 8th is Women’s International Day. So, we’re honoring female leaders by featuring 5 awesome business women and their signature quotes. In our previous post we shared about two amazing women; here are we three more inspiring stories.

Female Business Leaders that Inspire

Arianna Huffington is the founder and CEO of Thrive and founder of The Huffington Post. Also, she is the author of 15 books, including “Thrive” and “The Sleep Revolution.” In 2016, she launched Thrive, a leading behavior change tech company. Its mission is changing the way we work and live, by ending the delusion that burnout is the price we must pay for success.

She’s been named to Time Magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential people and Forbes Most Powerful Women list. Originally from Greece, she moved to England at 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in economics. At 21, she became president of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union.

Jane Fraser is the Chief Executive Officer of Citi. The world’s most global bank serves millions of consumers, businesses, and institutions across 160 countries and jurisdictions. Jane Fraser is the first female CEO in the firm’s history. She has been at Citi for 16 years, since she joined from McKinsey. Jane has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an M.A. in economics from Cambridge University. And she is married with two children.

Jane took over as CEO with the country still in pandemic, and has reimagined the workplace for 210,000 global employees.

CNN reported that she has created “Zoom-free Fridays” and will implement hybrid work schedules when the workforce fully returns.

These female business leaders sure are inspiring. But we don’t have to look only to women CEOs for inspiration, because girl power awesomeness is all around us!
